Testimonial - Disposition of Family Trust |
Dear Ms. Lamson:
As you may be aware, my mother died in July, 2006. In September, my sister and I visited your new offices and had a consultation with Karen Mancuso regarding the details of winding up her affairs. Thereafter, we concluded the disposition of the contents of our Family Trust and I, as trustee, dispersed the resulting funds to my siblings in accordance with my mother’s wishes as set forth in her will. . . .
I want to thank you and your staff for all your help in this matter. When my mother had her stroke in 2000 and it became clear that we needed to act affirmatively, we were recommended to your firm by the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged (JASA). When we first met, I was somewhat surprised by the cost of your services, but felt that anything was possible for my mother. Over the years, I have come to feel that your services were worth every single dime that you charged. I have had the pleasure of being able to talk with Jack Lippmann on various occasions and always received helpful information and, where necessary, advice. As I indicated above, after Mom’s death, my sister and I had a consultation with Karen Mancuso which was most informative and helped to ensure that the process of disposing of my mother’s assets was smoothly accomplished. Thus, it appears that, barring any unforeseen problems, those ongoing services will no longer be necessary.
However, on behalf of my siblings and myself, I am extremely grateful to you for having provided them to us.
With all best regards of the W. family for the future of your new firm, I remain
Sincerely yours,
P.W.
