CAROLE C. LAMSON was a founding partner of Lamson & Cutner. She retired from the practice of law at the end of 2009. Ms. Lamson practiced exclusively in the Elder Law field for 20 years. She was a member of both the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as the NYS Bar Association’s Elder Law Section. Ms. Lamson also served on the NYS Bar Association’s Trusts and Estate Section, where she was active on the Committee on Elderly & Disabled. Ms. Lamson was a Certified Estate Planner, who is widely published. Her articles on various estate planning strategies in the context of Medicaid and tax planning have appeared in the Journal of the NYS Bar Association, Affording Care Magazine, the Preventive Law Quarterly, the Journal of NAMI California, the Newsletter of the NYC Alzheimer’s Association, the CPA Journal, The Caregiver’s Beacon Newsletter, NY City Voices and JPAC Action Report, among others. Ms. Lamson was the founding editor of The Elder Law Exchange, a nationally distributed newsletter for the professional community.
